Welcome to our Christmas page. Here you can find our menus and information about how to make your Christmas 2019 booking with us.

This year, our Christmas menu will be available for bookings from Monday 25th November until Christmas Eve.

We cater for all types of bookings from a family get together to office parties. We are happy to modify dishes to suit dietary requirements, so do not hesitate to ask what we can do for you.

Lunch Menu

2 courses £18 / 3 courses £22

To start

Vanilla spiced roast celeriac soup with crispy salted celery leaves and truffle oil served with homemade wholegrain bread and salted butter [v] [vg without butter]

Smoked mackerel and horseradish pate with soused cucumbers and toast

Crispy breaded Camembert with a spiced fig and port chutney on red chard with a walnut dressing [v]

In the middle

Pancetta wrapped turkey, clementine and chestnut stuffed puff pastry wellington served with creamed leeks

Homemade seasonal Nut loaf with walnuts and cranberries served with a field mushroom gravy [vg]

All served with roasted Chantenay and parsnips, sautéed sprouts with toasted hazelnuts, roast potatoes, orange, fennel and cinnamon braised red cabbage

Pan roasted cod loin wrapped in Serrano ham with French peas and buttered spinach and garlic and fennel sautéed potatoes

 

To finish

Panettone doused in brandy, finished with Christmas pudding ice cream

Dark chocolate mousse with Liefman’s cherry beer-soaked winter berries and an almond brittle

Orange blossom and cardamom panna cotta with Christmas shortbread crumble, candied rosemary and a shot of Limoncello

English Stilton with honey, toasted walnuts, crusty bread and a nip of port

To start

Serrano ham with white wine and honey roast pears, Stilton and baby spinach salad with an olive balsamic reduction

Crispy breaded Camembert with a spiced fig and port chutney on red chard with a walnut dressing [v]

In the middle

Pancetta wrapped turkey, clementine and chestnut stuffed puff pastry wellington served with creamed leeks

Slow braised blade of beef on roasted root vegetable, garlic and rosemary mash with a rich red wine sauce with baby onions and parsnip crisps

Homemade seasonal nut loaf with walnuts and cranberries served with a field mushroom gravy [vg]
